FBSave Pro respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. Section 512. This policy explains how rights holders can contact us about alleged copyright infringement and how we handle such requests.
FBSave Pro is a link-extraction tool. When a user submits a Facebook URL, our server communicates with Facebook and returns publicly accessible streaming URLs. Video data transfers directly from Facebook infrastructure to the user device. We store nothing.
This means there is no video content on our servers to remove. If you want to prevent downloads of your content, the most effective action is to set your video to Private or Friends Only on Facebook directly. DMCA requests should primarily be directed to Facebook at their official copyright reporting page.
FBSave Pro uses yt-dlp, an open-source tool, to extract publicly available video URLs from Facebook. This is similar in nature to how a web browser loads a video when you visit Facebook. We simply expose the stream URL so users can save the file. Our service only works on videos that are set to Public on Facebook.
